Workshops
At the Ruurhoeve, we offer an interactive package around cheese. We can also organize for families and birthday parties tailored to your group.
During this fun interactive workshop, a cheese master will teach you all the secrets of this craft.
Terrace
Enjoying the Brabant countryside and its delicious regional products, you can do so on the terrace of the Ruurhoeve. Come enjoy a cheese board or cheese sandwich with fresh buttermilk.
Looking for a fun afternoon with the kids? Then let them learn all about the process “from grass to cheese” in a fun way. Reservations are not required. Just stop by!
Workshop
Always dreamed of making your own cheese? Then you’ve come to the right place at the Ruurhoeve! Take part in a fun “cheese making” workshop and work with the farmer’s wife.
How does the workshop go?
- Coffee at reception
- Donning appropriate clothing
- Working together in the cheese factory
- You will make your own baby cheese that you will take home after the workshop to ripen further.
- You will get the story and visit the farm
How long will the workshop last?
The workshop lasts approximately 4 hours.
Suitable for children?
Yes indeed! Children under 8 years old do always make their cheese together with at least 1 adult.
What does a workshop cost?
Attending a workshop costs 32.50 euros per person and includes coffee on reception and the cheese you take home at the end.
A group workshop costs 31.50 euros per person. Custom rates apply for larger groups. Make your request by sending an email to info@ruurhoeve.nl
The workshop can be extended with lunch (9.95 euros per person)
